Future-proofing the agency model at Mobile World Congress 2016

More than 100,000 professionals descended on Barcelona, Spain, for Mobile World Congress 2016 last month. As well as all the talk of 5G, the Internet of Things, and the potential of connected cars, it was fascinating to witness how the number of advertising agencies and marketers continues to increase each year.

This time around, the event was graced by the presence of WPP chief Martin Sorrell and Young & Rubicam’s global CEO David Sable, among many others. They are part of a handful of keynote speakers who spoke about how mobile is shaping the media and advertising industries.

Check out this insightful article from Adweek, with comments from David Sable, as well as The Martin Agency’s Leslie North, Leo Burnett’s Nick Jones, McCann’s Sean MacDonald and OgilvyRED’s Martin Lange.
